"I like to consult with my clients before their wedding day; there are no surprises or shocks in store. The client is encouraged to present me with a play list of songs they want to hear and importantly do not want to hear. If the client wants to hear all the cheesy songs like the hokey pokey then it is their choice and I will accommodate them, however I will not launch in to these songs without permission before the wedding day. It is important to give clients as much choice as possible in what I play, I will then advise my clients and steer them in a way that enables the wedding to be a success. Most clients do not listen to cheesy songs in their car so why at their wedding? I encourage eclectic taste in music that endorses the personality of my clients while making sure that the floor fillers are weaved in to the reception, the dance floor will be alive with sound and motion and usually it is where most guests remain the majority of the evening, music is an art form and the playing of it is a skill"

Fox News Television recently awarded Richard the "Best Wedding Music winner for N.E Ohio 2007" The competition was tough and over 112 DJs and Bands took part, Richard won the top spot through his efforts with Academy DJs, INC.
